Photovoltaics is the most versatile of the renewable energies and has the potential to give everyone in the world access to energy. Therefore, I focus on the dissemination of knowledge about the technology. With my company GREEN Solar Academy we have already trained over 5000 installers, planners, vocational school teachers and young people in Germany and Africa.
Vivian Bluemel is Chief Product Officer at GREEN Solar Academy. She studied Management of Renewable Energy in Erfurt, Germany (graduation as M. Sc. 2018) and has always focused on solar energy. Together with her business partner she built up maxx-solar academy a South Africa-based solar training provider and the two eventually founded GREEN Solar Academy as a spin-off in 2019. GREEN now operates 12 branches in 7 African countries.
Vivian became a board member of the German Solar Energy Society DGS in 2017 and is engaged in national and international activities of DGS.
