Bio:

I’m a Ph.D. Candidate and Instructor at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. I'm researching the intersections of (social) media, gender and national contexts. I've published studies on Muslim bloggers in Germany, the political blog scenes in Germany and Wikipedia's gender gap. Currently, I’m spending most of my time working on my dissertation exploring the participation of women in new media content production on family and maternal politics in the U.S., Germany, the U.K., and Switzerland.
