Personal note:

Participation rather than just presentation.
I offer you professional concepts and moderation of events that are specifically prepared to meet the needs of your participants and are therefore barrier-free.

Because you are planning an event and want to create real moments of participation for everyone.

Bio:

Accessibility means ensuring that all people, regardless of their individual abilities, have access to facilities, services and information. Accessibility also means that these are accessible to everyone without assistance.

For your event, accessibility means that all participants and contributors can easily reach the event location and can move around freely or use everything independently. This applies to online and offline events. Accessibility also means that your content and information is accessible to everyone (e.g. advertising, registration, etc.).

I'm Sharon Maple, an accessibility moderator and consultant on my favourite subject of accessibility. As a Berliner with British roots, I grew up bilingual in German and English.

I volunteered with the Junge Presse Berlin and Jugendpresse Deutschland. As a paramedic and trained first aid instructor, I also spent 10 years as a volunteer with the German Red Cross.

I myself come from the field of youth participation and worked on two projects at the German Federal Youth Council (DBJR) before becoming self-employed full-time. So I also know the perspective of the project officer and project manager.

Unfortunately, I know it well myself when I come up against barriers and can't fully participate like others. That's why I work as an ally (supporter) for people affected by disabilities, impairments and chronic illnesses.
