Personal note:

Sana Ahmad is a doctoral candidate at the Freie Universität Berlin and is writing her thesis on the outsourced practices of content moderation in India. Her project is aimed at understanding the outsourcing relationships between global social media companies and the supplier companies based in India. In doing so, she looks at the content moderation labour process and the working conditions of Indian content moderators. She currently works at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin with the research group titled, Working in Highly Automated Digital-Hybrid Processes.
