Born in the late 1990s and raised and socialized in the Rhineland during the 2000s, this is probably one of the reasons why I became so communicative. In the 2010s, I completed my Abitur and developed a budding interest in journalism as well as foreign and security policy—an interest I cultivated during my bachelor’s studies in Media and Cultural Studies and English Studies, and through my first experiences as a student assistant in television.
During my bachelor’s program, I embarked on a solo cycling trip lasting several months, covering over 3,000 kilometers across Europe. This journey made me truly aware, for the first time, of the tangible benefits the European Union offers in everyday life—an experience that continues to shape and strengthen me to this day.
I completed my master’s degree in Media in Austria and ultimately returned to the Rhineland with a firm decision to turn my passion for asking questions into a profession. Since then, after a brief period at a local radio station, I have been working as a freelance journalist in various editorial teams at Westdeutscher Rundfunk, both in front of and behind the television camera.
