It is 2022 and diversity is a buzz word. Although corporates openly commit to diversification and inclusion, women are still underrepresented and the gender pay gap is an ongoing reality. However, the need to become more women-friendly in order to keep up with the competition is being recognised –and many want to do better. Time to act.
Rea Eldem (she/her) has more than five years of professional experience in designing and managing applied research gender equality projects for companies, foundations and political actors. As a consultant specializing in gender equality, Rea and her agency IN-VISIBLE accompany transformational design for more equality in companies, political organizations, institutions, foundations and educational institutions (such as the University of Cologne, Helmholtz Association, Robert Bosch Foundation, BMW Foundation, giz). Rea Eldem has an academic background in cultural studies (Zeppelin University) and in intersectional feminist theory (TU Berlin), in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies (University of Cambridge) as well as international work and research experience (Japan, Korea, England). She lectures regularly, is part of various women's networks, leads the Women's Circle of the Innovation Network Factory Berlin and holds a teaching position at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
