I am concerned with questions of responsibility, power, and justice in cultural work. I operate at the intersection of art, memory, and contemporary politics, reflecting on how cultural spaces can enable genuine participation. My focus is on an anti-racist, post-migrant practice that makes structural inequalities visible and works to dismantle them. I understand art as a space for dreaming and wild thinking—an indispensable realm of possibility for a free society in which everyone has a fair chance at a good life.
Nina Reiprich is a project developer and curator with a focus on post-migrant, anti-racist, and diversity-oriented perspectives. After studying cultural and social anthropology, she worked for five years on Hamburg’s Elbe island of Veddel as part of the cooperative project NEW HAMBURG, initiated by the Deutsches Schauspielhaus and the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Hamburg-East, where she combined long-term, neighborhood-based cultural work with collective modes of practice. Since 2021, she has been Co-Managing Director of Studio Marshmallow and part of the festival leadership of the fluctoplasma Festival. She understands her curatorial practice as a position and a responsibility: the deliberate creation of spaces in which power relations are made visible, perspectives are shifted, and art becomes a site of wild thinking, negotiation, and the collective imagining of possible futures.
