Personal note:

I am Nina Haffer: a biotechnologist, health data strategy consultant, and founder of the podcast Weiberbildung.

I work at the intersection of medical standardization, digital health, and structural equity. My focus is on semantic interoperability in healthcare: how standards like SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-11, and HL7 FHIR can be designed to make health data inclusive, fair, and future-proof.

In my doctoral research in medical informatics, I explore how technology and language shape healthcare realities. Professionally, I support organizations in developing bias-free, gender-sensitive, and interdisciplinary data strategies.

Through Weiberbildung, I make complex topics around gender, language, and power in medicine accessible to both professionals and the interested public.

I work at the point where technical precision meets societal responsibility.
