Lisa Heite

With my multidisciplinary background in culture, politics, economics and languages, I like to combine different perspectives and people in order to make an impact. During my Bachelor and Master studies, I volunteered for a women‘s rights NGO based in the Middle East and was responsible for designing a digital strategy for the organisation. Seeing the huge difference that even small changes made on the women‘s rights activists motivated me to start a career in tech and discover more opportunities to empower others, particularly women.

Now, working at Microsoft, I experience digital and modern ways of working every day. Besides work, I am founding member of GemeinsamEinzigartig to bring diversity and inclusion to schools; and additionally teach digital skills to women at an NGO.
