Kristina Wißling gives a considerable number of lectures each year on origami and folding techniques and their connection to art, architecture and science. The designer has over 10 years of experience in lecturing in a wide range of industries. Workshops
Kristina Wißling gives origami & paper folding workshops for brands, universities, as well as inhouse innovation workshops. Lecture groups range from architecture and design students to R&D departments in companies. We have already held numerous workshops with a focus on geometry and folding techniques, for example at the ETH Zurich, Bauhaus University, RWTH Aachen, Sachsenröder and Miele. Kristina Wißling's path led her work as a freelance designer, after training as a media designer and studying communication design in Dortmund. After further training, she received her first award for her concept "Origami for the industry" in 2009. In 2010, she was a prize winner in the Federal Government's competition of cultural and creative pilots and in 2011 she was named one of the "100 women of tomorrow" - Land of Ideas under the patronage of the President.

In addition to her work in product development with her own office in South Westphalia, she regularly teaches at universities, gives workshops and lectures at research institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institute, in companies, and at conferences and congresses. Her focus is on geometry and folding techniques and the construction of crease pattern.
