In this practical presentation/workshop, I will highlight how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) sector and what this means specifically for compliance teams.

We will start with some myth-busting: what AI can actually do and what it cannot. Because before we implement any tools, we need a realistic understanding of the technology.
The focus will be on AI literacy: why a solid foundational knowledge is more important than chasing the next tool, and how to navigate a fast-paced environment.
We will take an honest look at the status quo of AI in the AFC sector, examine the three levels of the technology, and discuss both the opportunities and the risks—from bias and hallucinations to deepfakes.

Special attention will be given to regulation: the EU AI Act and competency requirements will be broken down concisely and understandably—without the legal jargon.
Ultimately, the core message is clear: human + machine wins. It is not about who has the most tools, but who uses them strategically and responsibly.

Als Teil des Speaker:innen-Teams des AI Training Institute habe ich die offizielle EU AI Act Schulung mitgestaltet. In sechs kompakten Modulen vermittelten wir praxisnah, wie Unternehmen KI rechtssicher einsetzen, Risiken minimieren und die Anforderungen des EU AI Acts erfüllen. Die Inhalte reichten von Haftung und Datenschutz über IT-Sicherheit bis zu Ethik und Bias – mit dem Ziel, Unternehmen auf die kommenden gesetzlichen Pflichten vorzubereiten.

Im Workshop lernst du, wie du Schritt für Schritt einen eigenen AI-Agenten in n8n aufbaust. Du erfährst, wie dieser Agent eingehende Chatnachrichten empfangen und mit OpenAI beantworten kann. Außerdem zeige ich dir, wie du dabei gewonnene Leads automatisch in Google Sheets speicherst und schließlich, wie du den fertigen Chatbot in eine Website einbindest.

Am Ende des Workshops hast du einen voll funktionsfähigen Web-Chatbot mit AI-Integration erstellt.

In this talk, I explored the intersection of AI ethics and decentralized finance, addressing how emerging technologies like AI and Bitcoin are reshaping economic systems. Starting with the concept of the Economic Singularity, I discussed the risks of infinite AI labour, centralized inefficiencies, and biased algorithms.

The session highlighted Bitcoin as a tool for financial sovereignty, not just speculation, and how AI + blockchain can enable greater financial inclusion. I also shared local initiatives from our AI education programs in Thailand, including free tech education for marginalized communities.
