Born in Germany but European at heart, I decided at age 25 that it was time for a change: I quit my job as communications manager at luxury brand Chanel, sold my car, packed my flat into boxes and left Hamburg with a huge backpack...to study abroad - in Hungary, Italy, Turkey, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Years later, I returned to Germany to finalise my studies in a post-graduate advanced research degree in Kiel and to kick off my career at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
Since then I have been working in European economic policy and (political /crisis) communication at the European Commission in Brussels and the euro rescue fund in Luxembourg.
In 2021, I was asked to join the speechwriters team of the Federals President of Germany in Berlin.
