Bio:

Johanna is a research associate and lecturer at University of Art and Design Offenbach and an associated researcher at Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society Berlin. With a background in futures studies (MA) and Philosophy and Media Studies (BA), she investigates the impact of emergent technologies on culture and society and the role of art and design in mediating and engaging us in current and future issues.

As a freelancer and consultant, she leads workshops on futures, AI, and sustainability and consults organisations on how our understanding of futures influences present capabilities.

With 12 years of experience in cultural management and art curation, she has served as festival director, exhibition curator, communication specialist, and program manager. Previously, she co-founded two art spaces and worked on international cultural projects in Seoul, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Frankfurt, developing programs at the intersection of science, art, and society to advance ideas for a sustainable future.
