Jessica Berlin

Jessica Berlin is an entrepreneur and foreign affairs and sustainable development expert with a knack for turning new ideas into reality. Her career has spanned over ten years with public, private, academic, and nonprofit organizations in Afghanistan, China, Germany, Myanmar, Rwanda, the UK, and the US. This work inspired Jessica to found CoStruct and build new models for advancing business and development in transitional economies, as well as innovative public-private-partnerships for economic development and sociopolitical cohesion. She holds an M.Sc. in Political Economy of Emerging Markets from King's College London, a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, and speaks five languages.

Jessica Berlin ist Unternehmerin und Expertin in den Bereichen Außenpolitik und nachhaltige Wirtschaftsentwicklung. Als Gründerin von CoStruct berät sie Unternehmen dabei, impact-orientierte technologische Lösungen dorthin zu bringen, wo sie am meisten gebraucht werden, und baut neue wirtschaftsfördernde Public-Private-Partnership Initiativen auf. Durch die von CoStruct-mitgegründeter Initiative MakerNet unterstützt sie zum Beispiel die weltweite Vernetzung von Makern und Makerspaces mit lokalen Märkten und Produktionsinfrastrukturen, um lokale Produktion zu fördern sowie um neue Arbeitsplätze zu schaffen.

Während ihrer Karriere hat Jessica in Afghanistan, China, Deutschland, Großbritannien, Myanmar, Ruanda, und den USA gelebt und gearbeitet. Sie spricht fünf Sprachen und hat einen Master of Science in Political Economy of Emerging Markets von King's College London sowie einen Bachelor of Arts in International Relations von der Tufts University.
