Bio:

Jana Niemann studied Health Sciences and European Public Health at the University of Applied Sciences Neubrandenburg, the University of Applied Sciences Carinthia and the University of Bielefeld. She is a research associate at the Institute for Medical Sociology at MLU and conducts research on sexual and reproductive health (equity). She is writing her doctoral thesis at the Charité on the experience of taking and stopping the contraceptive pill. She also works as a freelancer on other externally funded projects.

Im Rahmen des 8. Vorarlberger Frauengesundheitstages des Vereins femail* durfte ich im Herbst 2024 einen Vortrag mit dem Titel: "Verhütung der Zukunft? Eine Analyse von sexueller und reproduktiver Gerechtigkeit, Körperlichkeiten und der Antibabypille" halten.

Workshop Menstruationsgesundheit

Im Rahmen des 8. Vorarlberger Frauengesundheitstages des Vereins femail* durfte ich im Herbst 2024 einen Workshop mit dem Titel: "Menstruation - ein Tabuthema?" halten. Der Workshop befasste sich mit dem aktuellen Forschungsstand zum Menstruationsverlauf und der Definition von Menstruationsgesundheit. Inhaltlich haben wir uns dann in der Gruppe mit den Themen Menstruation als Tabu und menstrual leave beschäftigt.
