Bio:

I am an independent researcher and advisor on sustainable energy and climate change policy with a special focus on gender issues, climate justice and multi-level governance. I am co-founder and board member of the global network GenderCC-Women for Climate Justice, and have served several years as focal point of the Women and Gender UNFCCC observer constituency.
I hold an advanced university degree in physics and have 30 years of working experience in research, policy and management, among others as researcher with the Oeko-Institut in Freiburg, Germany, and managing director of the Climate Alliance of European Cities.
My current work focuses on the integration of the gender dimension into urban climate policy.
