When Sourcefabric was established in 2010, we had to reinvent the business model of the organisation to make our work in open source sustainable. We believe that business technology should start being the arena where we share innovation with the objective of reaching a greater benefit for all. We are currently introducing a new concept of a “open source consortium” where members/users do not only share the code of the product but also the road map and discuss priorities and future development.
The BERLeanIn group is a fantastic collection of women at all career stages, from tech and non-tech backgrounds. In the true spirit of Sheryl Sandberg's successful book 'Lean In', we learn from each other by sharing and discussing leadership challenges that many women face. Using the strength of our network and our collective skills and expertise, we support and help each other in a safe and fun environment. Openness, trust and transparency are some of our core values. We meet on a monthly basis in various locations throughout Berlin and we are always on the lookout for new talented members!
