Bio:

Fabienne Riener is the COO of Sourcefabric z.ú and the Managing Director of its commercial daughter company, Sourcefabric GmbH. Sourcefabric is Europe’s largest developer of open source tools for news media, working with clients and partners around the globe.

Before joining Sourcefabric in 2012, Fabienne enjoyed a varied career in the media sectors in Germany and the UK. Between 2003 and 2005 she worked at NBC Europe in Düsseldorf and from 2007 to 2011 she ran a film production company in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

She holds an M.A. in Cultural Management and is also an accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor / Live Coach with a practice in Berlin.
