Elisa Czerski is an entrepreneur, philosopher, and economist. Drawing from her academic research exploring the connection of AI, robotics, neuroscience, and ethics, she founded N Robotics in 2021. N Robotics is a full-stack robotics company that provides academic institutions and industry partners with customized robotics solutions for their specific application needs. The idea behind N Robotics is to provide fair and good access to high-end technologies and robots so that everyone can participate in the digital transformation.
Previously, she founded the Rethink Ethics & Tech initiative with the goal of taking a new practical approach to philosophy to tackle the question of how to develop, design, and use technologies that benefit society as a whole.

More and more institutions and companies are discovering the benefits of using robotics in their daily work. However, not all of them also have the expertise and manpower internally to use them in a target-oriented way. For this case, Elisa Czerski founded N Robotics: The company aims to build an ecosystem around mobile robotics to offer customers and partners full flexibility and the ability to develop their own applications. We talked to Elisa Czerski about the idea and development behind the company.

We will talk about why transparency matters in algorithmic decision-making and how it is different from explainability. We will discuss this on the example of Twitter, recent news related to Musk's intentions making Twitter's algorithms open-source - whether it is a bad news or a good news. And additionally, Elisa will bring her real-life examples about robotics.
