My bio:

Born in the Soviet Union to Mennonite Germans I moved to Germany in 1991. Or was moved, considering I was a small child. I received a scholarship to partake in the Congress Bundestag Exchange Program as a teenager, which changed the course of my life. I went on to live several years in various parts of Virginia and taught at the University of Virginia. I have two degrees in American Studies and Political Science. I have written for sports magazines, student platforms, parent and lifestyle blogs, Broadly and regularly publish on the topics of migration, Russian Germans and transatlantic relations.
