Bio:

I am a freelance curator and author based in Berlin. Having pursued my undergraduate and graduate studies in Art History and American Studies at the University of Hamburg and the Freie Universität Berlin, I conducted my doctoral research on performative authorship in contemporary art and literature at the Graduate School of North American Studies of the John F. Kennedy Institute at Freie Universität Berlin. My dissertation was published by the transcript Verlag in 2016: Performing Authorship: Strategies of »Becoming an Author« in the Works of Paul Auster, Candice Breitz, Sophie Calle, and Jonathan Safran Foer.
