I'm a physician with a focus on prevention of disease and palliative care. My passion is motivating people to change their health habits. I also love explaining medical questions to the public to raise awareness for disease prevention.
Born and raised in Northern Germany, I went to the University of Freiburg for Medicine. I was a visiting student at the University of Buenos Aires and Harvard Medical School (MGH), among others.
As a physician resident I worked for many years as an Anesthesiologist in Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, before switching to Internal Medicine, nutrition and prevention of disease. My side hustles have always included teaching and writing.
