Courtney Hemphill

Courtney Hemphill is a Partner at Carbon Five, a strategic digital product development firm known for its work with early stage, growth and enterprise companies such as Echosign, Square, Thumbtack, Groupon, Gap, Autodesk, and many others. She has done full stack development for over 15 years. As the GM of the Carbon Five NY office, she partners veteran technology teams with growing NYC companies to help modernize their software and unlock valuable business opportunities through technology.

She has presented and mentored at various conferences in the US and abroad; most recently at QCon, SXSW V2V, O’Reilly, and GOTO. She enjoys running coding workshops, for Women Who Code and Railsbridge, sits on the Golden Gate Board of NatureBridge, and is constantly finding random corners of the world to climb rocks.
