Béa Beste, Edupreneur. Béa studied Economical Engineering at TU Berlin and Communication at the University of Fine Arts. During her studies, she established a trend monitor in order to pay the babysitter for her baby daughter. She worked then for SAT.1 Television and The Boston Consulting Group. Starting 2005 she founded Phorms Education, a chain of bilingual private schools for grades K to 12 in Germany and has been its CEO until January 2011. Inspired by an education expedition through India, Australia, Indonesia and the US, she developed the Playducation approach to merge the world of play with the world of learning. In 2012 she founded TOLLABOX.de, a monthly box full of ideas and material to foster the natural creativity and curiosity of young children and help parents spend quality time with them. In 2013 TOLLABOX was one of the most successful crowd financing projects in Germany... that went 2015 bankrupt. Béa survived this and loves to speak about how failure is a chance for change. She also speaks about how a new learning culture can be established - in schools, at home, but also in organizations. Béa is a trained group moderator and delivers speeches very interactively - even in fron of a large audience.
