Ariane Papke is doing her Ph.D. in mathematics about the dynamics of atmospheric vortices. She investigates vortex attenuation or intensification due to shear flows. Fluid dynamics has accompanied her since she studied physics and she shared her passion with other scientists at several conferences and research stays. Ariane loves to teach and has encouraged and supported students at all levels with a plethora of different backgrounds.
