Personal note:

Getting more women into IT - this is what I work for, because it's a win-win: for the industry, but also for women - I emphasize that in my presentations. It is particularly important to me to break the bias as early as possible in childhood and thus to ensure a balanced gender ratio in IT and leadership in the long term.

Bio:

Anette Davids is an entrepreneur and software developer for ERP systems. After graduating in mathematics, she worked for 30 years in a software consulting company, where she was able to gain experience in conception, programming, project support and management. She learned very early on how to combine family and career in IT.
She has been working as a freelancer since 2021 and has been devoting part of her time to eliminating the gender imbalance in IT.
She gives lectures, offers programming taster courses for women and girls and advises companies on getting more women into IT. Her work environment is also a coworking space she runs in the small town, where she explicitly invites women to work and learn together.
She is an active member of the Women in Tech association.
