Bio:

A child of the Ruhr area in Germany, I grew into a feminist shaped by Simone de Beauvoir's work. Two years of intense boarding school life leading up to the International Baccalaureate at the UWC Waterford Kamhalba in Eswatini (Southern Africa). During that time involved in various activities, including the planning and leading of a workshop on the group Pussy Riot. This experience was followed by a short stay in Paris but the personal discovery of a discipline called Linguistics caused a move to Cologne to become a student of Linguistics, Phonetics an Digital Humanities at the University of Cologne. Obtained a M.A. degree in Linguistics and became a research associate in different projects. Started a doctoral project on the language development of newly immigrated children and adolescents in late 2022. Experienced as a language teacher, trainer, lecturer and speaker at conferences and collects further experience as a referent for adult or adolescent reading mentors.
