Bio:

Polina Malaja is the Policy Analyst and the Legal Coordinator at the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE). Holding LL.M in International Human Rights Law and Intellectual Property Rights Law, she is deeply interested in interactions between fundamental rights and freedoms and technology in the digital age. At the FSFE she is responsible for Free Software advocacy work on the EU level: including advocating for Open Standards, fair competition, and a level playing field for Free Software. In addition to that, she is leading the FSFE Legal Team and coordinating the biggest network of legal experts in Free Software: the Legal Network.
