Passionate about shaping the future of sustainable mobility, I thrive on connecting people, ideas and perspectives to inspire positive change. With a strategic mindset and a strong appetite for innovation, I enjoy creating spaces where collaboration, fresh thinking and bold ideas can turn into meaningful impact.
My expertise spans innovation, digitisation, public transport and new mobility solutions, with a particular focus on how technology, people and new business models can shape the mobility systems of tomorrow. I am equally passionate about empowering the next generation of mobility professionals. Through the Young Mobility Network (YMN), I support young professionals in building connections, developing their careers and finding their voice in the industry.
As a speaker and moderator, I enjoy making complex topics accessible, challenging conventional thinking and bringing diverse voices together to create engaging and forward-looking conversations
Since 2019, I have been driving transformation at Deutsche Bahn, with a focus on innovation, digitalisation and the future of mobility. For three years, I worked as a Senior International Sales & Business Development Manager at ioki, a leading Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) SaaS provider, where I successfully developed the company's footprint in the UK and Ireland.
In 2020, I co-founded the Young Mobility Network (YMN), an initiative dedicated to connecting and empowering young professionals across the mobility sector. In 2024, I established YMN as a company, further developing its mission to create opportunities, foster collaboration and give the next generation of mobility leaders a stronger voice in the industry. In 2025, I founded Anna Filby Consulting & Professional Training in Mobility, focusing on consulting, professional development and training within the mobility sector.
I regularly speak and moderate at major international mobility events, including the UITP Summit 2025, BUS2BUS 2024 and 2026, MOVE London and other industry conferences. My speaking topics include sustainable mobility, public transport, demand-responsive transport, innovation, digitalisation, new mobility solutions, mobility business models, international market development and the future of the mobility sector. I am particularly passionate about the role of young professionals and the importance of creating a more collaborative, diverse and forward-looking mobility industry.
I am a native speaker of both English and German and bring an international perspective to my work across the mobility ecosystem.

During the pandemic, Anna Filby was a young transport professional looking for ways to connect with others at a similar stage of their careers.
So, she created the Young Mobility Network.
Six years on, what started as an initiative to bring young mobility professionals together has grown into a thriving network with more than 900 members in Germany and an expanding international presence — and has become Anna’s full-time work.
In this episode, Anna joins the conversation to discuss the challenges facing young professionals in the mobility sector, how the industry and career landscape have changed over the years, and what it was like to build YMN alongside a full-time career.
We’re also joined by Alessandro Zenati, who leads the London Hub of the Young Mobility Network as a volunteer, to explore the network’s growing international community and the importance of creating opportunities for young voices across the sector.
