Everything remains different. New paths and tasks for photographers in times of democratization of our tools and generative AI
In 2006, I earned my degree from HAW Hamburg with my thesis “Unisono.” This series has been exhibited and awarded numerous prizes both nationally and internationally. Since then, I have been working as a freelance artist.
I am multidisciplinary, but primarily work in photography—and I still love it. Since 2023, I have also been working with generative AI beyond the bias, and since 2024, I have been working more intensively with the wonderful medium of film.
Since 2023, I have been a speaker on panels (e.g., Freelens, IHK, UpDate...) and a solo lecturer (e.g., Academy of Photography) on the topic of generative AI in art from a photographic and cinematic perspective.

Das Panel zielt darauf ab, die komplexen Wechselwirkungen zwischen KI, künstlerischer Praxis und theoretischen Konzepten in der Fotografie zu beleuchten. Wie verändert KI das Konzept der Autor*innenschaft in der Fotografie? Welche urheberrechtlichen Herausforderungen ergeben sich? Die kuratorische Perspektive auf den sich verändernden Foto- und Fotokunstmarkt wird hierbei durch künstlerische und kunsttheoretische Fragen erweitert.
Teilnehmer*innen: Nadine Isabelle Henrich (Kuratorin des Hauses der Photographie Hamburg), Boris Eldagsen (Fotokünstler/KI Experte) und Sabine von Bassewitz (Künstlerin/Fotografin).
Im Anschluss an die jeweiligen Panels ist Zeit für Diskussionen und Austausch.
