Personal note:

I am a female scientist returning to Berlin after "the American experience": cancer, bankruptcy. With a background in immunology and a lifelong commitment to science, I’ve seen how US systems fail the vulnerable.

I’m not here to continue —I’m here to start over and build forward. I bring not only deep scientific expertise, but the clarity that comes from lived experience.

My mission is to make medicine inclusive, human, and just. Communication is key to that mission.

• Excels at how things connect to each other and fit into the larger picture, and is driven to solving “problems” such as “weird signal” in the data, or a biologic that “shouldn’t do that”, etc.

• Effective communicator between different stakeholders including establishing clinical trials at new sites, liaison between client and CRO and/or academia.

Fields of Expertise
Autoimmune liver diseases, role of nuclear hormone receptors in immunology, immune aspects of pregnancy and hypertensive pregnancy disorders including preeclampsia, immune tolerance.
