Bio:

After completing my business baccalaureate at the Gymnasium Büelrain and an undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Zurich, I switched to psychology (specialising in social psychology), history and philosophy. I specialised in the interdisciplinary field of the human-dog relationship by investigating this unique relationship from a historical, philosophical and psychological perspective, both theoretically and through empirical research. I graduated in 2012 with a licentiate. In addition to my studies, I completed various ccourses as a dog trainer and behavioural consultant and train people and their dogs (reward-based and scientifically sound). In 2014, I founded the Initiative for forcefree dogtraining (www.forcefree-dogtraining.org), which now has over 700 supporting professionals and many large organisations. I have published articles for various media and given lectures/participated in congresses as a speaker. In addition to my work with dogs, I also work with my husband in the film industry.
