Persönliche Anmerkung:

Micaela's dream is to make the world better by building organizational cultures of compassion, kindness and empathy. She is an engaging and adept Storyteller and uses her professional and personal experiences to inspire others with a pragmatic approach to solving problems. She educates, guides, influences and instructs individual leaders and teams on how to get organized and get moving.

Micaela is driven by her innate curiosity to understand how people think, learn and make decisions in large organizations. Her approach to transformation is both pragmatic and philosophical, focused on infusing a knowledge sharing, servant leader-based culture into community ecosystems of expert builders, makers and innovators. She has learned that organizational and cultural transformations succeed with servant leaders who, instead of dictating behavior, enable and incentivize teams to openly collaborate, communicate, make hard choices, 'think' not 'do' and build community cultures of compassion, kindness and empathy.

Biografie:

Micaela spent almost a decade growing Open Collaboration, Agile and InnerSourcing capabilities within IBM starting in Data & AI supporting Watson NLP’s transformation, then the Watson Core platform and finally in IBM Research as Senior Global Program Delivery and Operations Leader for the InnerSource Program Office (ISPO). She was asked to join IBM Research to help lead the InnerSourcing world-wide transformation of the Open Innovation Community where she developed the community growth strategy, built an education curriculum and enablement capabilities to support roll-out of InnerSource within IBM's AI and Quantum organizations! In mid-July 2025, she decided to take on a new challenge and joined Ernst & Young as an Assoc Director to establish and lead EY's InnerSource Strategy & Enablement, where she is focused on championing collaborative ways of working that spark innovation and building community ecosystems rooted in knowledge sharing practices and servant leadership, which empowers expert builders, makers, and innovators to do their best work.
