I am an avid mediator, lawyer and CEO & Founder of R3SOLUTE (https://r3solute.com/). R3 seeks to establish peer mediation mechanisms in refugee communities and neighborhoods. Participants learn to solve disputes in their communities. As mediator at Mediation Winter (https://mediation-winter.com/), I mostly deal with labor law and culturally sensitive issues. Also, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Alternative Dispute Resolution at European University.
Previously, I worked as a mediator with Los Angeles Superior Court and consultant with OnDeckMediation where my expertise included anti-discrimination and labor law. In addition, my experience includes working with the United Nations Office of the Ombudsman and Mediation Services where I analyzed and addressed systemic issues causing conflict within the organization. I hold a law degree with a focus on International Public Law and Human Rights Law from Heidelberg University, and LL.M. with a specialization in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute.
