Biografie:

Ame Elliott is Design Director for Simply Secure, a nonprofit organization dedicated to security, privacy, and ethics. She is an experienced speaker who tailors presentations to audiences with various levels of technical and business knowledge. Prior to Simply Secure, Ame spent eight years in San Francisco at innovation consultancy IDEO where she oversaw the Design Research community and delivered technology strategy work to Global 500 clients including Acer, AT&T, Ericsson, Fuji-Xerox, Gannett, HP, and Samsung. Previously Ame was a Research Scientist in the Computing Science Lab at the Palo Alto Research Center (formerly known as Xerox PARC), and at Ricoh Innovations where she focused on ubiquitous computing applications and shared media. She earned a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University Colorado, Boulder. She holds 8 U.S. patents, and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, including a chapter in the Oxford Handbook of Internet Psychology.
